Nut Butter Toast & Smashed Fruit

Serves 1



2 tbsp fresh berries of your choice

1 slice whole grain bread

1 tbsp nut or seed butter of your choice (peanut, almond, cashew, sunflower)



In a small bowl, mash berries well. Toast bread, and spread nut or seed butter on it. Top with mashed berries, and enjoy!

Note: Add another piece of bread to this recipe to make a healthier nut butter and “jelly” sandwich with no added sugar.
